Working at home

I just hate it when the economy tanks.

I have been down this road plenty.

However, I don’t believe I ever expected that the economy would be tanking over a health crisis. Goes to show what I know and it also points out just how vulnerable our way of life can be. While there has been a minimal safety net that has been slow to be effectively deployed, with no positive results , most of us are taking it in the shorts. I believe that’s the truth for me. I’m still trying to make a living while entirely working from the comfort of my HVAC in my house. My income has entirely not been even close to what it was before the coronavirus showed its ugly face. So there has been a lot of cost cutting in our household. We have been trying to watch what we spend on everything. My partner says it was the warmest warm summer she ever spent in this house. She’s entirely right because I tried to not run the AC as hard. Since I was at the house always working, I made sure that the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C thermostat was in savings mode. But it saved us several hundred dollars. Where the two of us live, the cooling comes on about April and doesn’t quit until November. I was happy to have the savings and have more money in our budget for other necessities. However, that doesn’t mean I cut corners on the HVAC. I made sure the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C preventive repair still happened. I still upgraded our air filter properly. You should not cut corners when it is regarding your HVAC system in your home. In fact, the two of us are going to have to get a HVAC repair done prior to the heat coming back, to ensure it will work properly. The HVAC technician told me this was necessary and I trust him completely. So, I will also be making sure the Heating, Ventilation as well as A/C repair is done by those entirely same professionals because they provide quality work.
